Welcome to the JSOU. Reading these rules are just another part of being a part of JSOU. You need to follow and adhere to the rules and regulations. If you don't, there are consequences. But just remember, having fun is a big part of JSOU.
Rules for Teamspeak:
1. Always respect the owners/ moderators of the Teamspeak. If you continue to disrespect owners/ moderators, you will be punished according to what you did.
2. Do not post pornographic images on your avatars. We know it's only fun and games, but we do have young members. Keep it PG-13.
3. Do not open mic in channels. It's distracting to others, as well, can interfere with operation communications.
4. Do not be rude to other members. We are here to work together and have fun together, it is never necessary to slander each other.
5. We are a Milsim unit, so by those standards do treat high command like they are high command. A lot of them are moderators or owners.
Rules for Operations:
1. Follow all orders from your squad commander. Do not disrespect or mouth off to your leaders. They are in that position because they know how to accomplish the tasks set forth to them.
2. Do not clutter radio communications. Squad leaders or RTO communications are the only ones that need to use long range radio communications.
3. Don't be reckless. Make sure you follow your BCT/ AIT training in order to carry out your mission. We do like to have fun, but during operations we are trying to complete the tasks.
4. If you are unsure about equipment, contact your squad leader either in Teamspeak, Steam, or Short Range Radio. Don't blow up the LRR (Long Range Radio) trying to figure out your equipment.
5. Remember, have fun. That is what we are here to do, but make sure you understand this is a Milsim unit. We may yell and treat you like the military, but we mean nothing by it but giving you the best military simulator experience we can offer. We enjoy organization, it keeps it fun and rewarding when we complete a mission.
Other than those few simple rules, you are here to enjoy your time in JSOU, do so. We welcome you all here to the JSOU. We are growing daily and we are gaining new sections all the time! Thank you for following these rules and being a part of JSOU!
