Welcome! Before you can join the ranks of the JSOU, you are required to fill out this application so it can be processed and you can be placed. Copy the below application in to a post and answer all the questions. It will be reviewed and it will either be declined or accepted.
Personal Questions:
1: How long have you been a gamer?
2: Have you ever been part of a Milsim Unit? If so, what units?
3: Being a part of JSOU, there is a lot of crude humor and some times offensive things said - Will this affect you joining?
4: How old are you?
5: If you had to pick a Milsim name, what would it be? (ex. John Walker)
Arma 2 Questions:
1: How long have you played Arma 2? (OA, CO, BAF, A2, PMC)
2: What is your chosen weapon and equipment on the battlefield?
3: We have many sections you are available to join - MARSOC, Airforce, Pararescue, and Green Berets. If you had to choose, which section would you want to join?
4: Do you know the basics of Arma 2 and if you have ever used ACE, do you know the basics of ACE as well?
5: If you join a section and your section is required to wait long periods of time, is that going to make you want to change sections or even units?
JSOU Questions:
1: Why do you want to join the JSOU?
2: What can you offer the JSOU?
3: Upon joining the JSOU, you will notice we have fun before the operation, but when we start - We mean business. Is that okay with you?
4: You may be asked at some point to do something outside of your section's purpose, in example - Airforce needs to join MARSOC on ground. Are you able to agree with that?
5: How often can you be here? Activity is a much needed thing, but we do have 30+ members currently who are active. Can you help us maintain this?
6: How did you hear about us?
7. What is your Steam? Please post your Steam URL.
After you fill this out, you are good to go. We will process the application and let you know if denied or accepted. We know its a long app, but it will help us determine those who really want to join and the ones who are 1 day visitors. You are always welcome to join us in our Teamspeak and get to know us before putting in this application!
Thank you,
Warrant Officer Walker
